Size: 18 to 27 inches

Lifespan: 8 to 12 years

Tank: adults should be kept in 4ft by 6ft by 4ft enclosure at minimum, 6ft being the height

Substrate: soil or reptile carpet to keep humidity

Decorations: they love water, so keep a big bowl in there for them to swim in, live plants to keep humidity up, plants that are safe to use are: dragon tree, spider plants, pothos, and philodendron, a big hide for them, and branches for them to climb

Heat: 100°F on hot side and 80°F on cold side during the day, and 75°F to 80°F at night

Diurnal and need desert 10%-12% UVB during the day

Humidity: 80%

Diet: insectivorous: mealworms, superworms, crickets, etc. Be sure to dust insects with calcium and occasional vitaminsCarnivorous: pinkies, fuzzies. Herbivorous: sometimes veggies
